I am so excited to share what Beauty truly means to me with It's my first time working with Woolworths, so I felt really proud that I was one of the influencers chosen to be part of their beauty montage. It's also the first time I've used W Beauty and I was super impressed.
When I was younger Beauty for me for was very superficial. It was all about the way you looked physically. I wasn't a super model. I had frizzy hair, breakouts and coming from a Middle Eastern dad and Scandinavian mum I looked different to the other girls. My mum didn't teach me about self care and beauty because she didn't know herself. I really had no clue until much later on in my life.
Becoming a mum, makeup artist and beauty blogger taught me a lot. Now at 46 with crazy hyper pigmentation which I have hated for so long I am slowly learning to love myself and embrace my imperfections.
Beauty now means loving yourself no matter what because beauty is glowing from the inside out. My husband and my kids have taught me that I am beautiful even when I still struggle to believe it.
What I can do is take loving care of my skin through using good skincare products, taking the time to pamper myself and look after my body. Use makeup products that enhance my beauty and make me feel good every day.
Products used W Beauty Glow Concentrate, Hydrating Gel Moisturiser, a touch of the Longwear Max Coverage Foundation, Extra Volume Mascara and Hydrance Lipstick in Coral
